learn-french The learning the french language Resource Center

Overall it’s decent and interesting to watch. I was actually hoping for more basic vocabulary and common phrases than all the grammar rules they are trying to teach. I just need more “travel/tourist” knowledge. So this seems better suited for someone actually trying to learn the French language for the long haul, not if you’re traveling for a week. It’s still interesting and slightly corny, but it makes it somewhat fun to watch.

Initially, I was very skeptical about the reviews for this product. Unable to commit to the entire series, I bought just the Intro Vol 1. I downloaded it to my MP3 and take it wherever I go. Within the first day, I had the entire Alphabet memorized. The flowing rhythm of the program does get “stuck” in your head (as another reviewer mentioned) and you find yourself just saying the information after you turn the CD off.

I have bought other CDs/books and while they are helpful in allowing me to pick up additional vocabulary, SmartFrench is the method that I return to. SmartFrench provides an easy method for learning the language (and more importantly comprehending the language). I am so sold, that I recently ordered the Vol 2 and the Beginners Level.

      Thanks SmartFrench!
